Get It Done With DunnCo.™

Strong leadership is about setting an example and creating a positive environment where our team members feel empowered to make the safe and right choice all the time. A few ways we accomplish this are listed below.

On-Board Training

We deploy our onboard safety training for all of our new team members, associates, contractors, and builders.

DunnCo.™ Safety Training

We use our Safety Training Work Book, plus other internal processes, to remain in compliance with OSHA standard safety guidelines.

On & Off Site Communication System

There is a digital and physical list of emergency contacts posted and visible, in a designate area on all jobs.

Personal Protective Equipment

We provide appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to all workers for any task or job, to ensure health and safety at all times. PPE can mean the difference between a near miss and a fatality, and it can even prevent an accident in the first place. OSHA requires that PPE be provided to employees at no cost and has specific standards for what should be available and how it’s maintained for quality assurance
Pro Tip: Always be aware of your surroundings. Nails and Screws cause major issues. Look out for them.

DunnCo.™ Situational Awareness

Observe

You should be looking around you at all times while focusing on the task at hand. Being aware of your surroundings is key to knowing the dangers and  potential hazards before they occur.

Nick Nelson

Architect

Understand

We will teach our team members, contractors, and subs what dangers and hazards to look for and how to understand their observations quickly and safely. Understanding the danger or hazard is crucial to your safety.

Tom Sanders

Architect

Act

Once you are aware and you understand the issue, then it is up to you to act, based on the training you received. There will be specific protocols on what you should do next, depending on the situation and danger.

DunnCo.™ Safety Training

Safety training for specific job functions, power tools, heavy equipment, first aid, and hazardous substance handling for each department of our company, is our heist priority. This goes for the common incidents as well as potential rare threats. We train our team members to carry out emergency plans, such as a fire evacuation, inclement weather, or other responses to hazards that threaten our sites throughout the year.
